Rainman Brackish Water Flow Gauge

Product water output levels will increase as salinity levels of the source water decrease. While this can be good, it is important to ensure flow rates do not increase beyond the rated output to prevent damaging the reverse osmosis membrane.

Techy Bits

The main purpose is to measure the product water flow.  When you go into brackish water, the product water rate increases.  This is good up to a point, but if you go beyond 140lph or 70lph (high output, or compact), you get too much flux across the membrane.  This can lead to micro tears shortening the life of the membrane.  Customers going in to the Baltic Sea, for example, should be using the brackish water flow gauge

Key Features
